Glimpses of Notes is being completed in India by Yann, our typesetter and Cathedral Poems is being print proofed for the second time after being corrected. The Winter magazine is being printed after its corrections but I still have to apologise for the index page, as I have been advised since sending it to print that the page numbers are incorrect. Anthology 3 is almost complete and ready to be checked. I have completed the text poetry competition e-book from the Poole Word and Book Festival apart from the cover image, so it should be complete and available to view late this week. If anyone remembers Sarah Tracy from the early days at the site, I heard from her on email last night. She got married in August to Fred and is settled into her new USA life, although missing her older son in England. The site is difficult to update until the new broadband is connected on 13th January but I will do what I can via the web server itself until then. Launch party for Anthology 3 is on 5th Feb at the Everyman Bistro below the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool, so please let me know if you are coming. Monday 3rd January - Happy New Year everyone! I'm still slaving over a hot scanner with Glimpses of Notes (99MB per page and my poor computer is struggling with memory problems - I know the feeling!). I have a meeting at the care home tomorrow to show the drawings to the staff. I'm having problems uploading the web page files so this may take a while to get online.

Thursday 30th December - Hi all, the news for today is......
Andrew Taylor's Cathedral Poems are being proofed at the printersto be delivered next week. There were a few omissions of names on the Winter Journal so I have had to send the corrections to pess andso it has been delayed another week. Members may see the uncorrected draft in the members' area. I am working with Yann, our typesetter on Anthology 3 and Glimpses of Notes by Alan Corkish. I have completed the e-book for free viewing by anyone in need of a positive boost. It is intended to support people suffering with mental health issues but it would probably work just as well for anyone feeling like they don't have much confidence or needing some friendly words. It's free to view here via this link CLICK HERE. You can view it in your browser with a pdf viewer. It is just under 1MB. Karin has sent me the drawings from the care home project and I will be framing them and completing the project shortly. More news as it happens.

Sunday 19th December - Hi again! I'm back in a limited way on dial-up pay-as-you-go and so normal service will not be resumed until January when I get the broadband connection back. We should have that completed shortly. I am also completing a free e-book for the purpose of supporting people experiencing a tough time with mental health problems. We have just judged the txt poetry competition from the Poole Word & Book Festival 2004 and the winner will be announced in January, I will also have an e-book completed around that time to showcase the entries. Early in 2004, I will be working with Karin and Stephen Laskey on the excellent Sonnets to Let collection and preparing for the launch of Anthology 3 that was delayed in November. I will also commence work on the personal collection for Maria Onyango, who won our very first Whitmarsh Prize for young writers. Anyone who came to Poole in October for the Poetry Slam will have been treated to hearing her perform a set way beyond her years. Once I am back on broadband, I will be able to update the pages again. Until then, I will make a note here of any news. Have a great Christmas and let's hope that 2005 is going to be sending us fewer obstacles! Love to all, Paula.
